On the last day of term, Friday the 29th of June, Coburg North Primary School will be celebrating Carnevale.

Carnevale is an Italian celebration which is usually held before Easter to mark the beginning of Lent and the arrival of Spring. Our Carnevale will celebrate the end of first semester.

In the Carnevale tradition we would like students to dress in fancy dress (Italian theme if possible) and wear a mask to disguise themselves.

The Carnevale celebrations will start at 9.15am in the school hall. There will be a short performance by some students, followed by a parade which will conclude at about 10.15. Parents and friends are welcome to attend.

After recess students will be watching the performance I Due Carabinieri by La Comica Variety Productions (James Liotta and Mario Cicitta).
