G.A.T.E.WAYS

G.A.T.E.WAYS aims to cater for children who are in the highly able to gifted range. This approximates the top 10 – 15% of children in the classroom. Programs are delivered at a faster pace than in the regular classroom, and are pitched around two years ahead of chronological age.

G.A.T.E.WAYS runs a range of programs which parents of gifted and highly able children can enrol in directly. These programs include: Brainwaves Club, Holiday Club, Festivals and Leadership.

Please see the G.A.T.E.WAY website for brochures outlining the programs. If your child(ren) is interested, please complete the expression of interest form. For first time attendees, an expression of interest is required to be completed and returned to Kyla Mamic via the office. If students have previously attended any gateways programs an email to Kyla requesting nomination to a particular program will suffice.

We are delighted to present our final program in the 2019 Eureka Series, ‘Solve It! More Mysteries for Curious Minds. After 'it's success in 2018, we are excited to bring 'Solve It!' back in Term 4 with three brand-new workshops to captivate your students.

Students will be encouraged to think critically and creatively as they work together to solve the three compelling mysteries they will encounter. They will engage various problem-solving strategies that require them to look at the evidence in multiple ways and from different perspectives. They will analyse information, formulate questions and use their imagination to find novel pathways that lead them to that 'aha' moment when the solution finally reveals itself.

During our Eureka program students will attend the host venue for one day and participate in three in-depth, engaging workshops created by the talented team from G.A.T.E.WAYS.

Further details and links for our Eureka programs can be found below or you can visit our website for more information.
