School Captains and Vice Captains
Junior School Council
At the beginning of the year our School Captains and Vice Captains are selected. The School Captains perform a variety of duties over the year and the positions are considered integral to the effective operation of the school.
Junior School Council is made up of two elected students from each grade. These students regularly attend meetings to swap ideas and information. The Junior School Council arrange whole school activities to fundraise for selected charities, as well as helping to make decisions and to set the tone of the school.
The Music captains assist the Music teacher in the administration of the school rock bands and the choirs. They help run events and set up equipment, they make announcements concerning rehearsals, co-ordinate publicity for performances and generally help to promote music in the school.
Senior students act as mediators in the yard during break times. All students are capable of learning the skills of the mediation and of applying them in their daily interactions.
